This bakery started out as just me baking goodies for my friends. As my snickerdoodles got incredibly popular, everyone started saying I could start selling them, so I started planning out how I could start and run an at home bakery for more than just my friends. I wanted to be able to share this joy with as many people as I could. Now, the name, Rose Theatre Bakery, I came up with in high school when I was a musical theatre major at an arts school. The Rose Theatre was actually the original name of The Globe Theatre, the first theatre to put on Shakespearean plays during his time. I was inspired through my love of theatre, to pay homage to the masterpiece of Shakespeare through the masterpieces of my own desserts.
